No Grumbo Be HUMBO

Founded in ’98, Alden would always talk about how hard it is to be in this world and how we can get into the habit of grumbling about the little and big things in our lives; instead, we can choose to bite our tongue and cultivate an attitude of thankfulness.  Alden tried to live that, not only as a
slogan but in his daily life. He felt that “No Grumbo Be Humbo” was a way to encourage every living soul. He never failed to display the goodness of God in the way he treated everyone he came across, and especially for Christians, the slogan encourages us to come together in the body of Christ to get through life
(1 Cor. 12:27).

WEll Rooted LLC

After Alden's passing in 2023, No Grumbo Be HUMBO, will live on through Shane's (Alden's son) small brand company called Well Rooted LLC. HUMBO was more than just a business to Shane; it was a platform to share the hope of Jesus Christ. 'No Grumbo Be HUMBO' stood for 'Help Us Make Better Outlook,' a message that referred to Jesus, who helps us change our perspective on life. Deeply inspired by this, Shane would use HUMBO's mission to build his business. He wanted to encourage everyone to accept Christ and know the hope in Him alone. With his father's legacy in mind, Shane starts his journey and writes his story to pass on to future generations, telling them to “endure the race and finish to meet Jesus at the end of this life given by God.”
